I wanted to recreate my rusty but trusty1992 Miata using the 1:24 scale Tamiya Eunos Roadster model kit. The kit was missing what I think is one of the best features of the first generation Miata, POP-UP HEADLIGHTS!

 

Works only with Tamiya kits

No. 24085 or No. 24082

You will need to cut out the scored headlights from the stock hood. Once cut these detailed upgrades will glue in from the bottom side. The headlights and lenses are also designed to accept micro smd led lights for those that want to add that extra dimension to their kit!

A few items for your consideration:
•We all use different materials and different printers so you may need to make slight adjustments to the fit of parts.
•You will need to cut/ modify your stock model kit and some modeling experience is recommended.

These parts were modeled by me over the course of many hours of research and pouring over reference material. I have taken care to print these files and use the parts myself not only to ensure that they fit well but also because, I too, am a scale modeler and love this hobby.
